EC Sets December 30 for Kpandai Election Re-Run

The Electoral Commission (EC) has fixed December 30, 2025 for the parliamentary election re-run in the Kpandai Constituency.

The fresh poll follows an order from the Tamale High Court, which annulled the 2024 parliamentary results over irregularities and directed that a new election be conducted within 30 days. Parliament has since declared the seat vacant and officially notified the EC, allowing preparations to begin.

According to the EC, only the three candidates who contested the original 2024 race will appear on the ballot again. The Commission says it is committed to delivering a transparent and credible re-run.

Voters in Kpandai are being urged to take note of the new date and participate fully in the upcoming election.
