Court Fines Agradaa GH¢12,000 Over Case Involving Osofo Biblical

An Accra Circuit Court has fined controversial evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa, an amount of GH¢12,000 in a case involving fellow preacher Osofo Biblical.

The court found Agradaa guilty after she was charged in connection with comments and actions deemed defamatory against Osofo Biblical. She was ordered to pay the fine or serve a custodial sentence in default.

The case stemmed from a public dispute between the two religious figures, which attracted significant attention on social media and in the public space. Prosecutors argued that Agradaa’s conduct crossed legal boundaries and warranted punishment.

The ruling serves as a reminder that public commentary, especially on sensitive issues, must be exercised responsibly to avoid legal consequences.
