The Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) has announced plans to distribute GH¢856,700 to its members as part of its December 2025 royalty payments.
According to the organisation, the distribution will benefit music creators, composers, and rights holders whose works were used across various platforms. The royalties cover usage from both local and international sources.
GHAMRO explained that the move forms part of its commitment to ensuring transparency and timely payments to members, while encouraging musicians to properly register their works to qualify for future distributions.
The December payout is expected to provide financial relief and support to beneficiaries within Ghana’s creative industry.
