A Level 200 student of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has tragically lost his life in a road accident while attempting to retrieve his student identification card after being prevented from writing an examination.
According to reports, the student had arrived at the examination venue without his student ID, which is a required document for entry into the examination hall. As a result, he was barred from writing the exam until he could present the identification card.
Determined to return quickly and sit for the paper, the student reportedly left to retrieve the forgotten ID. Unfortunately, he was involved in a fatal road accident during the journey.
The incident has left the UCC community in deep shock and mourning, with many students and staff expressing sadness over the tragic loss of a young life under such circumstances.
