Over 500,000 Ghanaian Youth Applied for Security Jobs 🛡️🇬🇭
Interior Minister Mubarak Muntaka revealed that more than 500,000 young Ghanaians applied for security service jobs this year, with 130,000 applications going to the Ghana Police Service alone.
Many applicants were disqualified due to incomplete forms, not meeting age or education requirements, and other eligibility criteria. The Minister emphasized that training capacity is limited, so only a fraction of applicants can be recruited.
The announcement highlights the high interest of Ghanaian youth in public service and the need to follow all recruitment requirements carefully.
