Kwesi Botchway Jnr. Files RTI Request Over One Million Jobs and ORAL Recovery Claims

Kwesi Botchway Jnr., Esq. has filed a Right to Information (RTI) request seeking a detailed breakdown of the one million jobs reportedly created by the Ghana Statistical Service, as well as clarification on the GH¢600 million ORAL recovery mentioned by President John Dramani Mahama in his recent State of the Nation Address (SONA).

According to the notice, the request is aimed at obtaining specific data and documentation to support the figures presented. Botchway is seeking transparency on how the jobs were calculated and categorized, as well as details surrounding the reported recovery by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

The move has sparked public interest, with many calling for greater clarity and accountability regarding key national statistics and financial recoveries cited in official addresses.
