The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has presented the final report on the Bawku peace mediation process to President John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House in Accra.

The presentation, which was livestreamed, marks a major step in efforts to resolve the long-standing chieftaincy conflict in Bawku in the Upper East Region. Otumfuo was tasked by President Mahama to lead mediation talks between the feuding factions, with the aim of restoring lasting peace to the area.
