KOKA WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FOR STONEBWOY OVER ALLEGED POLITICAL REMARKS 🎤🇬🇭

A staunch supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, has announced that he is withdrawing his support for Ghanaian dancehall musician Stonebwoy following controversial remarks attributed to the artist.

According to KOKA, his decision was triggered by claims that Stonebwoy expressed willingness to compose a campaign song to help the National Democratic Congress (NDC) win elections. In a strongly worded statement, he urged the NPP to stop inviting the musician to perform at party events.

“I have withdrawn my support for Stonebwoy after his remarks about composing a song to help the NDC win elections. The NPP should stop inviting him to perform at their events,” he stated.

KOKA also issued a warning, stating that there could be consequences if Stonebwoy’s music is played at NPP events. His comments have sparked mixed reactions among party supporters and the public, with some backing his stance while others argue that music and politics should remain separate.

Stonebwoy has yet to respond to the backlash, as debate continues online over the role of entertainers in Ghana’s political space.
