Controversial televangelist Nana Agradaa has spoken publicly for the first time following her release from Nsawam Female Prison.
Making her first appearance on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Agradaa recounted the emotional moment she walked through the prison gates, admitting she was overwhelmed with fear. According to her, she never imagined that her gospel ministry would lead to incarceration.
In an interview after her release, she said she did not fully understand the charges brought against her and maintained her disagreement with the 15-year sentence that had been handed down.
Agradaa revealed that during her time in custody, she made a covenant with God. She said she prayed that if she were granted freedom—like biblical figures she referenced—she would dedicate the rest of her life to worshipping and glorifying Him.
Now released, she has reunited with her husband, Angel Asiamah, and her family, marking what she describes as a new chapter in her life.
