BULLET OPENS UP ABOUT EBONY’S CAREER AND FINANCIAL STRUGGLES AFTER HER DEATH

Ricky Nana Agyemang, popularly known as Bullet, CEO of RuffTown Records, has revealed that he did not make any money from the music career of the late Ghanaian singer Ebony Reigns.

Speaking about the period following the artist’s tragic death, Bullet disclosed that he is still paying off debts connected to Ebony’s music career and projects. According to him, despite the success and popularity of Ebony’s songs, the financial realities behind managing and promoting an artist were far more complicated than many people assume.

Bullet explained that a significant amount of resources was invested into building Ebony’s brand, producing music, and promoting her work. As a result, many financial obligations remained even after her passing.

Ebony Reigns, who was signed to RuffTown Records, became one of Ghana’s most celebrated female musicians before her untimely death in a road accident in 2018.

Bullet’s comments have sparked renewed conversations about the challenges record labels face in the music industry and the financial sacrifices often made to develop successful artists.
