The Ghana Police Service has arrested four students following a violent riot at Wa Technical Institute on 19 November 2025.
The unrest, sparked by students resisting disciplinary action, led to damage to school property, including the administration block and school vehicles. The school was temporarily closed to allow for repairs and investigations.
Authorities say more students may be implicated, and the Ministry of Education has called for strict measures to restore order and ensure safety on campus.
